I'm delighted by the openness of this young artist to joining visual with aural and kinetic elements in her drawing.I relish the way the dancing figure and two rugs dominate the image, while the television's presence recedes.Graphite and oil pastel on paper?Show us some more please!

Love the Oriental Carpet in the background! What kind of dance and music?

I like to imagine that the child in the picture is dancing around in actual silence and can hear the music in her head. Kind of like a tune out get away from the world.
